Mallorca

We went to the island of Mallorca the last weekend before Jason's semester finished. We decided a little trip to the beach was necessary before he had to take 2 finals! Here's just a bunch of pics from the cool beaches we found on this island

Some really cool coves on the island

Caution: the beautiful and amazing water is deceivingly coooold

Jason graduates finishes classes here in Spain this week so we had some BYU graduation festivities

We saw a lot of seaweed in the water... until we looked closely

and realized it was thousands of jelly fish!

Built a little something to finish off the weekend

Barcelona with Rachel & Colin

Rachel and Colin came to Barcelona as the last part of their trip and we partied it up there for a weekend! We also may have eaten Kebab about 5 out of the 6 meals, so it was a good weekend!

The best part of the whole trip

A little bit of some Sagrada Familia followed by cupcakes

More donuts

Nee-how

Apparently Barcelona chose this arch over the Eiffel Tower....
Not sure why cause the Eiffel Tower is way cooler

Gaudi's famous Guell park in Barcelona.. and the house looks like a Gingerbread House

                                                                 A pretty Gaudiiiiii weekend

Last stop for the Fullers...Madrid!

After visiting 5 countries in 9 days...the Fullers came to their 6th county, the last leg of the trip...Spain! First we explored Madrid, then spent a day in Segovia and El Escorial, and spent the last day seeing Alcala and Parque Europa.
We went to a great Burger restaurant our Surgeon had suggested we try...it was very authentic American food...only partway through the meal did Jason and Emily realize that maybe Ned and Julie didn't come all the way to Europe for authentic American food....

Retiro Park

Semana Santa Procession

The Madrid temple

The Alcazar Castle...some say that it was one of the two castles that inspired the Disney logo

The armory inside the castle

The view from above the castle

A very well preserved Roman Aqueduct
The Segovia Cathedral

Interestingly posed lions in front of the Cathedral.

The boys may have gotten a little tired of castles, museums, and cathedrals...

The Valley of the Fallen, just outside of El Escorial

The parents coming to church with us!

Parque Europa

Guapos!

Getting to know William!

Outside Cervantes' house in Alcala

Plaza Cervantes

Fullers in Greece!!!

Jason and Colin eating a Kilo of Lamb in Crete.

Us sleeping on elafonissi beach crete...and many more pictures below of that beautiful beach!

Ned and Julie may not have grandchildren yet...but the son in laws do almost as good of a job to keep things lively.

Sunset at another beach in Crete...below is a picture of Rachel taking pictures...shout out to her photography for many of the great pictures we have from this trip!

The girls went beach hopping while the boys went base jumping.

Jason promises he participated in the actual "jumping".....I guess we will just have to take his word for it...the evidence is all over Instagram!

The canyon where the base jump ended.

Venetian Port...right outside of Chania, Crete

Pictures of the Acropolis...we accidentally had Jason stand on the top part of the hill for the picture...we swear he isn't really that much taller than the rest of the Fuller crew!

The boys doing team push-ups in the Acropolis...they even had some Asian ladies wanting to take pictures...until the security man started blowing his whistle and told them to stop.

We went to the first modern Olympic stadium in Athens...Shout out to Colin for running all the stairs in the stadium!

We held baby chicks and ducklings in a pet store in Athens...they were so cute!...and I'm sure the fact that I included this picture gives away that Emily and not Jason wrote this week's blog update!
